How to Restrict the SiteLink Move-in Button

You need to be logged into SiteLink Corporate Control to perform this task.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.


The purpose of this guide is to explain how users can ensure that only one Lead is created in SiteLink for every Tenant move-in that takes place. This ensures users are credited with accurate Tenant creation reporting numbers when they move-in Leads. If the Move-in button isn't restricted and users complete a move-in directly within SiteLink, it will not appear in CallPotential as a rented Lead thus creating inconsistent reporting information and not accurately crediting them for moving in Leads.

Open Security Levels

  • (A) Click Site Setup.
  • (B) Click Security Levels.


Select Locations

  • (C) Check the All box so you can make changes for all locations at once.
  • (D) Click Next. 

Note: After clicking Next, the first location in your list automatically becomes selected. Confirm that one is selected (click to select one if there are none) before continuing onto (E). It does not matter which location is selected so long as one is.

Note: SiteLink allows individual roles to move-in Leads. You will need to complete Steps (F), (G), (H), (I),& (J) for each desired role you want restricted from moving in Leads.

  • (E) Click the Security Level dropdown and select the desired role. Note: This is actually at the bottom of the window but needs to be completed first.
  • (F) Deselect the Move In checkbox.
  • (G) Click OK.

  • (H) Are Your Sure You Want to Proceed? - Click Yes.

  • (I) Transaction Successful - Click OK.

  • (J) Would you like to make another adjustment? - Click No.
