Cancelling a Lead

How to cancel a lead

1. Expand the Accordion View

Click Open on the accordion view in order to expand it.

2. Click the Search button

Click on the little magnifying glass in the top right corner of the accordion view.

3. Search for the lead

3. Search for the lead

Search for the lead by selecting the appropriate location, type (set to leads), and the customer name, phone, or unit number. Then click the Search button.

4. Open the Lead Card

Click the "Open" link under the Status column to open up the lead card.

5. Click Cancel Lead

5. Click Cancel Lead

At the top of the card next to the Contact buttons, Click the gray box titled "Cancel Lead".

If this lead is meant to be cancelled, then you can click "No" for this portion.

Reason for Removal

Reason for Removal

Click the drop down next to the Reason for Removal field, and select the option that applies to the cancellation of this lead.

If a competitor was the reason behind the cancellation, select the competitor that the administrator has entered in the system.

7. Add your note and Remove

7. Add your note and Remove

Add a note regarding the cancellation in the Cancellation Comment box, and then click the Remove button to cancel the lead.

8. Success!

Your lead has been cancelled when your screen finishes loading and brings you back to the blank home screen.
