Creating, Editing, and Removing 'Other' Disposition Reasons

The purpose of this guide is to explain how to add, edit and delete reasons users can select from when identifying calls as 'Other', or unrelated to storage. Examples may include such things as a wrong number, vendor or telemarketer. These reasons provide Administrators with better insight into the types of calls that come into a location or through the contact center.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Access
(A) Settings - Click to access your list of available system settings.
Create a New Reason
(B) 'Other' Disposition Reasons - Click to open your 'Other' reasons list. From here you can add, edit or remove options system users can select from when identifying calls that are not from a potential Lead, existing Lead or current Tenant.
(C) Add New Reason - At the bottom of your list, enter the reason you want available when your users categorize a call as 'Other'. Note: There is no need to click Enter on your keyboard to add the reason to your list. The reason will be added to the list once you click outside the Add New Reason window.
Edit a Reason
(D) Edit Pencil - From your 'Other' Disposition Reasons list, select the reason you want to edit and then click the corresponding Edit Pencil.
(E) Edit Reason - The reason you selected will appear inside a window indicating it is now editable. Click inside the window to make your edits. Note: You do not need to click Enter on your keyboard to apply your edits. Instead, when you've finished, click anywhere outside the window. Once you've applied the change, it will immediately appear for users to select from when categorizing a call as 'Other.'
Delete a Reason
(F) Delete - Select the trash can associated with the corresponding reason. You will be asked for confirmation in (G).
(G) Yes - Click to confirm and apply your deletion request. Clicking Yes will remove this option from use.
