Updating a Location's Outbound Communication Language

Depending on the location, it may be necessary to change the language of its outbound communication. The purpose of this guide is to explain how administrators can adjust language and translation options.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.
You must be signed into the Web Client as an Administrator to access this option.

Depending on your software settings, you may not have access to all available languages.
Access
(A) Edit Pencil - From the location list identify the location you wish to edit and click to open its profile.
Select a Location's Outbound Communication Language - Note: You will need to scroll down to access (B).
(B) Non-Editable Communication Language - In the Location Details Settings tab, click the dropdown to make a selection. Edits you make here will reflect in the following types of outgoing communication.
Reservation payment receipts (Text/Email/Print)
Move-in Receipts (Text/Email/Print)
Customer payment receipts (Text/Email/Print)
Auto Collection Calls
Note: If your facility is using the PDF Receipts feature on storEDGE, the language settings for reservation payment receipts, move-in receipts, and customer payment receipts will not apply.
(C) English - Select this so that only the English version (text or voice) will be sent.
(D) French > English - Select this so that the French message will appear at the top with the translated English message underneath. For Pay-by-Phone, French is option 1, and English is option 2.
(E) English > French - Select this so that the English message will appear at the top with the translated French message underneath. For Pay-by-Phone, English is option 1, and French is option 2
(F) Spanish > English - Select this so that the Spanish message will appear at the top with the translated English message underneath. For Pay-by-Phone, Spanish is option 1, and English is option 2
(G) English > Spanish - Select this so that the English message will appear at the top with the translated Spanish message underneath. For Pay-by-Phone, English is option 1, and Spanish is option 2
Save - Note: You may need to scroll back to the top to access Save & Cancel.
(H) Save - Click to save your edits and return to the Location list
(I) Cancel - Click to discard any edits made to the location and return to the Location list.
