Sometimes when a Lead contacts a storage facility, they are unaware of a closer or more convenient location. The purpose of this guide is to explain how users can search for units at different locations based on distance from a zip code or a particular location and have that information available in one organized table.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.
Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality.
(A) Search Locations - By default, CallPotential shows one location’s inventory. The location is dependent upon either where an existing Lead has previously been associated, where a new Lead called into, or where you’ve indicated a walk-in Lead is interested. To add units from other locations to your Inventory list, click Search Locations.

Search for a Facility by Distance from the Location
Â
(B) Location - The Search Locations window initially shows locations based on the distance from the location the Lead is associated. If you’re looking for locations based on the distance from your current location, there is nothing you need to change. Note: Your current location cannot be changed.
(C) Radius - 5 Miles/8.0 kms is the default distance from your current location. Click the dropdown to select a different distance. If you select All, a list of all your locations will appear.
Â
(D) Enter a Location Name - If your list is long or you know the location the Lead is interested, enter it here. The list will dynamically update as you type a location’s name.
(E) Location Distance - You’re current location distance will appear as 0mi/0km. The list will then include increasingly distant locations from your current location.
(F) Select Location(s) - Your current location will be automatically selected and the system will let you select up to 2 more locations to include in your Inventory list. Click the corresponding checkbox(es) to select your location(s). Note: you cannot unselect your current selection.
(G) Confirm - Click Confirm when you’ve selected the location(s) you want included in your Inventory list.

Search by Distance from a Zip Code
Â
(H) (Search by) Zip Code - Another way to find a location(s) is to search by zip code. This might be a better way to search for locations if the Lead is interested in facilities far away from the current location. Begin the process by selecting this option.
Â
(I) Zip Code - Enter the 5 digit zip code the Lead would like to base their search on. Note: This can be any zip code you want your search based, not necessarily the zip code your facility is located.
(J) Radius - The radius selection will default to 5mi/8kms. Click the dropdown to select the desired search radius from your (I) Zip Code.
(K) Enter a Location Name - If your list is long or you already know the location the Lead is interested, enter it here. The list dynamically updates as you type a location’s name.
(L) Location Distance - You’re current location distance will appear as 0mi/0km. The list will then include increasingly distant locations from your current location.
(M) Select Location(s) - Your current location will be automatically selected and the system will let you select up to 2 more locations to include in your Inventory list. Click the corresponding checkbox(es) to select your location(s). Note: you cannot unselect your current selection.
(N) Confirm - Click Confirm when you’ve selected the location(s) you want included in your Inventory list.

Filter Your List
Â
(O) Unit Size - Click the dropdown to filter the Inventory list by the (P) Unit Size column. Within the dropdown, you can select multiple unit sizes to appear in your Inventory list.
(Q) Description - Click the dropdown to filter the inventory by the (R) Description column. Within the dropdown, you can select multiple Description categories to appear in your inventory list. This information is gathered from your PMS and may be organized around such things as Climate Controlled, First Floor Units, or Parking Spaces. Note: The description name may not be related to how the units are organized. The organization and naming of the groups are done within your PMS.
(S) Reset - If you’ve selected a Unit Size and/or Unit Type, your Inventory list will have changed to reflect your selections. Click to return the Inventory list to its original information.
(T) Only Show Available Units - The Availability column shows the number of available units and the percentage of available units relative to all units within that group. Check this box to show only unit groups that have at least one unit available.
Â
Â
Â
Select a Unit at a Different Location - When selecting a unit at a different location (for either a new or existing Lead), you will be prompted to confirm that you want to neighbor the Lead to a different location.
Â
(U) Select a Unit - With units at multiple different locations appearing in your Inventory list, select a unit by checking its corresponding box. You will also be prompted to cancel the Lead record at the original location if this is a saved Lead. Note: Once you’ve selected a location’s unit, you will only be able to select additional units at the same location. To select a unit at a different location, first deselect all your units.
