Configuring Lead Required Fields

This guide explains how to set which fields as required when either creating a new Lead or processing a Move-in.

Access

  • (A) Corporate - Click to open your Corporate dashboard.

  • (B) Settings - Click to open your Settings dashboard.

  • (C) Software Settings - Click to open your software settings.

  • (D) Required Fields - Click to open your list of Required Field Sets.



Create a New Required Field Set - Note: If you want to edit an existing Set, skip to (H).

  • (E) Add New Required Field Set - If you want to create a brand new set of required fields, click here. You'll be asked to create its name and associated facility(ies).

  • (F) Name - Enter the required field set name.

  • (G) Facility selection - Click the dropdown to select which facility(ies) you would like the required fields associated with. Note: After completing this step, continue to (I).



Edit an Existing Required Field Set

  • (H) Edit - Select the Set you would like to edit.



  • (I) Tenant Information - 

    • The following fields should be left as "Never"

      • Middle Initial

      • Date Of Birth

    • You can adjust these fields to "Required"

      • Last Name

      • Email

      • Phone Number

  • (J) Driver/Vehicle Information - 

    • The following fields should be left as "Never"

      • Storing Motor Vehicle

      • Drivers License Expiration Date

      • Vehicle Make

      • Vehicle Model

      • Vehicle VIN

    • You can adjust these fields to "Required"

      • Drivers License Number

      • Drivers License State

      • Vehicle License Plate

      • Vehicle License State

      • Vehicle Description

  • (K) Lien Holder Information - All fields should be left as Never. 

  • (L) Contacts - All fields should be left as Never.

  • (M) Insurance - This field should be left as Never.

  • (N) Insurance Information - All fields should be left as Never.

  • (O) Military Information - 

    • The following fields should be left as "Never"

      • Brand of Service

      • Place of Birth

      • Military Email Address

      • Last 4 of SSN

      • Current Duty Location

      • Military Rank

      • Military Unit

      • Squadron

      • Division

      • Type of Service

      • Date Entered Service

      • End of Active Service Date

    • You can adjust this field to "Required"

      • Military

  • (P) Commanding Officer Information - All fields should be left as Never.

  • (Q) Agent Information - All fields should be left as Never.

  • (R) Tenant Information - 

    • The following field should be left as "Never"

      • Middle Initial

    • You can adjust these fields to "Required"

      • Last Name

      • Email

      • Phone Number

      • Primary Address (not recommended)

  • (S) Marketing Information - 

    • The following field should be left as "Never"

      • Length of Stay

    • You can adjust this field to "Required"

  • (T) Save - Click to apply your changes.
