Grading a Location

Administrators, Managers, and Evaluators can grade locations according to things like cleanliness or employee dress. Once locations have been graded, they appear in the Location tab for all users associated with that location to review. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to access the Location tab to grade locations.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Access

  • (A) Evaluations - Located inside the left hand navigation column, click to;

    • Grade or exclude calls from grading in your To-Do list

    • View all calls and grade calls on an ad-hoc basis

    • Grade locations

    • Assign calls to the Call of Fame

  • (B) Location - Clicking Evaluations will open to your To-Do list which contains all grading tasks that are pending a final grade or exclusion request. Click Location to access the full list of locations to grade.



Search for a Location to Grade

  • (C) Search - If you know specific location information you can enter it here. The list will dynamically update as you enter information. You can search by;

    • Location name

  • (D) Filter by Locations - Click this to filter your list by location.

  • (E) Filter by Time - Click this to filter the list according to the time the grading occurred. Your choices include;

    • All Time (no filters, how the list originally looked)

    • Today

    • Past 7 days

    • Past 30 days

    • A customized timeframe

  • (F) Additional Filters - There is another way to filter the list that doesn't appear in this list. Click the plus sign to access it. The filter includes

    • by Grader

  • (G) Apply Filters - After selecting your filters, you will need to click this to update the list to reflect your choices.

  • (H) Reset - Click this to remove any filters you've applied and return to the original list.



Remove a Location's Grade from the List

  • (I) Select Location(s) - To remove, or archive, a location's grade from the list, you must first select it. You can click the checkbox to the left of individual location grade(s) or the global checkbox at the top of the column to select all the grades in your list.

  • (J) Archive - Once you've selected your location(s), this becomes active. Click to remove your selected location grade(s) from the list.

  • (K) Active - The system will open to showing only active location grades. The list that is currently open will be highlighted in grey.

  • (L) Archived - Click to view your list of archived location grade(s). The process to unarchive location grades is the same as how you archived them, just in reverse.  Refer to (I).



Grade a Location

  • (M) Edit a Location's Grade - Click a grade to edit locations that have already been graded. The process of editing grades is the same as grading a location for the first time. Refer to (R) to learn how.

  • (N) Grade a Location - Click to open a new location gradesheet. The gradesheet will have placeholder grades which you can edit.

  • (O) Select a Location to Grade - When opening a new gradesheet, you will need to select the location you want to grade by clicking this dropdown menu.

  • (P) Grading Information - If you are editing a previously graded location (N), the gradesheet will have this information. If you are grading a location for the first time, this information will be left blank.

  • (Q) Select a Gradesheet - When grading a location for the first time, you will need to select which gradesheet to use for grading. This will be already selected if you are editing a previously graded location.

  • (R) Cancel - If you change your mind and don't want to grade the location, click to close the gradesheet and return to your Location list.

  • (S) Download Gradebook PDF - Click to download this gradesheet as a PDF document to your computer.

  • (T) Exclude Question from Grading - To remove a question from contributing to the overall grade, click this checkbox and the points will be removed from the total.

  • (U) Grade Question - After reading the question, click and drag the grade indicator to adjust the score. The section and overall grade will adjust to reflect your changes. 

  • (V) Add a Question Note (optional) - After grading a question, you can add an explanatory note by entering it in this window. Note: This will be specific to the question. Refer to (W) to learn how to add a note that applies to the entire gradesheet. 

  • (W) Add a Call Note - You can add a note that's applicable to the entire grade. The process to add this note is the same as (V); click the window and type your note.

  • (X) Save - When you've finished grading, click to save your entries. Once saved, the gradesheet will close and you will be brought back to your Location list.
