Completing eSign Documents

The purpose of this guide is to explain how to complete the final step in the move-in process, the Tenant selecting how they want to receive their eSign agreement.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality. 

Depending on which property management software your company uses, you may have slightly different tabs asking for slightly different information than described here. Please check with your management team for specifics.

Email the eSign Documents - Note: Email is the default method to send the eSign agreement.

  • (A) Template - Click the dropdown menu to access additional message templates. Note: Please confirm with your management team before changing which template you want sent to the Tenant.

  • (B) Subject - A default subject will display. Note: Please confirm with your management team before editing the subject.

  • (C) Email Message - A default message will display. Edit as necessary. Note: Please confirm with your management team before editing the message.

  • (D) Email Address - The primary email address listed in the Lead’s record will appear. Edit as necessary.

  • (E) Back - Click to return to the payment information step.

  • (F) Send eSign - Once all edits have been made to the subject and message, click to email the documents.

  • (G) Email Sent Confirmation - After clicking (F) Send eSign, this message will appear confirming that the email was successfully sent.



Text the eSign Documents

  • (H) Text - Click to text the eSign documents.

  • (I) Template - Click to access additional message templates. Note: Please confirm with your management team before changing which template you want sent to the Tenant.

  • (J) Text Message - A default message will display. Edit as necessary. Note: Please confirm with your management team before editing the message.

  • (K) Phone Number - The primary phone number listed in the Lead’s record will appear. Edit as necessary.

  • (L) Back - Click to return to the payment information step.

  • (M) Send eSign - Once all edits have been made to the subject and message, click to send the documents.

  • (N) Text Sent Confirmation - After clicking (M) Send eSign, this message will appear confirming that the text was successfully sent.



View the eSign Documents

  • (O) Link - Click to access, download & print eSign documents. This is a good idea if the Tenant is currently in the location and does not want the documents emailed or texted.



Complete eSign Process

  • (P) Done - Click to close the Move-In window. The system will take you to the newly created Customer card.
