Editing Move-In Options

This guide covers various Location settings specific to moving in a Lead. Move in settings help manage how users interact with Leads during the Move-In process and within the Lead card. If you do not subscribe to CallPotential's Lead Manager, these settings are not applicable to your account.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality. 

You must be signed into the Web Client as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and edit move-in options.

Access

  • (A) Edit Pencil - From the location list, identify the location you wish to edit and click to open its settings.

  • (B) Leads - Click to access the location's Move-In settings.



Edit Move-in Options - Note: Depending on your property management software, you may need to scroll to the bottom of the page to find these settings.

  • (C) Hide Move-in Button on Lead Card

When selected, the Move-In button will not appear on Lead cards. This would be used to restrict anyone from processing a move-in within CallPotential.

  • (D) eSign

When selected, eSign information will be displayed during the move-In process. If your location is not set up with eSign through your management software, you will want to disable this.

  • (E) Default Rental Period Length

Click to select from the available rental length periods, options include Monthly or 4 weeks depending on your billing cycle.

  • (F) Default Keypad Zone

Click to select from the available location keypad access zones. Depending on how this is configured through your management software, you may or may not have multiple options available here.

  • (G) Gate Access Times

Click to select from the available gate access times. Depending on how this is configured through your management software, you will at minimum have the options of 24 or business hours.

  • (H) Gate Code Generated From

Click to determine how a tenant’s gate code is generated; options include Phone and Random. If Phone is selected, the gate code will be generated from the Tenant’s phone number. If Random is selected, the Tenant’s gate code will be randomly assigned.

  • (I) Set Gate Code Parameters on Move-In

Enable this to have access to (J) & (K). Note: The system doesn't save settings for (J) & (K) if this is setting is turned off and back on. Some gate systems are limited to how long a code can be, utilizing this setting will help ensure a proper gate code is assigned.

  • (J) Number of Gate Code Digits Allowed

Indicate the minimum and maximum number of digits required for the gate code. Note: The digit limit is 11.

  • (K) Highest Gate Code Number Allowed

Enter the highest combination of digits allowed. For example, if you set 11 for the maximum number of digits allowed, you can enter 99999999999.

  • (L) eSign Rental SMS Template

Click the dropdown to select a default text template used for sending an eSign agreement via text. If you have multiple templates saved in the system, you will be able to update it during the time of move-in. This is just what is selected by default when you begin the move-in process. This setting will not apply for StorEdge integration. StorEdge controls the eSign sending process. Clicking the "Send" button in CallPotential will cause StorEdge to send the eSign link to the email or phone number we specify.

  • (M) eSign Rental Email Template

Click to select a default email template used for sending an eSign agreement via email. If you have multiple templates saved in the system, you will be able to update it during the time of move-in. This is just what is selected by default when you begin the move-in process. Click here to learn more about message templates.

This setting will not apply for StorEdge integration. StorEdge controls the eSign sending process. Clicking the "Send" button in CallPotential will cause StorEdge to send the eSign link to the email or phone number we specify.

  • (N) Optional vs Required Fields selection

Users are allowed to define optional and required fields during the Move-In process. Note: You may select and edit more than 1 field at a time. All fields are present at time of move-in, only those marked as required will be necessary to actually complete the move-in.

  • (O) Arrows

Click to move the selected field(s) to the other column.

Apply Changes - Note: Depending on your property management software, you may need to scroll back to the top of the page to access Save & Cancel.

  • (P) Cancel - Click to discard any changes made and return to the Location list.

  • (Q) Save - Click to save changes and return to the Location list.
