Archiving Tracking Numbers

Tracking numbers can be inactivated, or archived, when you retire specific advertising campaigns or close locations. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to remove tracking numbers from use in the system.

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.
Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality.Â
You must be signed into CallPotential's web version as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and archive a tracking number(s).
Access
(A) Settings - Click to access all your available administrative settings.
(B) Phone Numbers - Click to access the full list of editable tracking numbers, both active and archived.
Select a Tracking Number to Archive - Note: After clicking Phone Numbers, the list will initially default to showing your Active tracking numbers.
(C) Add a Filter - Click the dropdown to filter the list by Number, Associated Ad, or Location.
(D) Search - Click to search by a specific number or location. As you type, the list will dynamically update.
Archive/Unarchive Tracking Number(s) - Note: These instructions apply when (E) Active is selected. If (F) Archived is selected, this process will unarchive, or activate, a tracking number(s). You may archive or unarchive more than 1 tracking number at a time.
(E) Active - This is the initial default setting. When selected, the list will show Active tracking numbers. Click (F) Archived to view archived tracking numbers.Â

(G) Checkbox - Once clicked, the selected tracking number(s) will become highlighted and be able to be archived or activated.
(H) Archive - Click the icon to archive the selected tracking numbers(s). Archive will only appear when the (G) Archive checkbox is selected. Note: If (F) Archive is selected, (H) will read Unarchive.
