System Variables can be utilized in a script or workflow template in order to customize what is displayed without having to create multiple templates. System Variables can represent a location name, phone number or unit information.  The purpose of this guide is to explain how to find the list of System Variables.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality. 

You must be signed into CallPotential's web version as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and view System Variables.

Access

  • (A) Settings - Click to access all your available administrative settings.

  • (B) Variables - Click to access the full list of searchable Custom and System variables.
  • (C) System - The list will initially default to showing Custom Variables. Click to see System Variables. Note: The term in grey indicates the type of variable you are viewing. Click here to learn more about Custom Variables.


Search the System Variable List - Note: You cannot add or edit System Variables. This list is view-only.

  • (D) Search - Search for a specific System Variable. The list will dynamically update as you start typing.

  • (E) Sort - Click once to sort the list alphanumerically and twice to sort reverse alphanumerically.
