Your organization might place ads on such things as billboards, inside your local YellowPages book, and various websites. Each ad might contain a unique phone number (tracking number) that when dialed, get forwarded to one of your locations. All this helps identify which ad contributed to a caller dialing into your location and justify the expense of maintaining advertisements or eventually, help you decide to stop paying for some underperforming ones. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to identify which tracking lines and ads are associated with your locations.
