When using tracking lines for different marketing/ad purposes, you'll want to assign a unique ad name to each for tracking purposes. This guide explains how to create unique ad names to assign to your tracking lines.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality.

You must be signed into the Web Client as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and create a new ad source.

Access

  • (A) Settings icon - Click to access all available administrative settings.
  • (B) Ads - Click to access all your Active and Archived ads.

Create a New Ad

  • (C) New Ad - From this page, you'll be able to activate, edit or archive Ads as well as create new Ads. In the top, right corner, click to create a new ad.

Ad Settings

  • (D) Ad Name - Click to enter the Ad name that will appear in your My Ads list. If you have multiple tracking numbers for your location, you can add specific Ads to each so you can better understand where ads are coming from.

  • (E) Ad Type - Click the dropdown to assign your ad to an available Ad Type.

  • (F) Total Monthly Cost - Enter the monthly cost of running the ad.

  • (G) Source Match (optional) - If Match to a Lead that comes through a Marketing source. This allows you to associate ad names to names in your property management software (PMS) if there is not a one-to-one correlation. For example, you might want to enter web* which will then search for anything in your PMS that starts with web such as website, webdirect, etc.

  • (H) Editable (optional) - This gives you an option of changing the ad name once the Lead has already been created.

  • (I) Always Visible (optional) - Click to allow this to be viewable in the Lead card at all times. If left unchecked, only ad names for locations which have a number associated with the ad will be visible.

Save

  • (J) Save - Click to save the new ad and return to your My Ads list.

  • (K) Cancel - Click to discard any changes made and return to your My Ads list.
