How to Acquire a new tracking number for your location

1. Log in to the WebAPP
First, in order to acquire a new tracking number, you will need to log in to the WebAPP. You can do this by navigating to http://app.callpotential.com and using your admin login credentials. If you have forgotten your credentials, please contact support at 877-552-2557.
2. Call Tracking
After logging in, to begin the number acquisition process, you'll need to click
- Call Tracking
- Tracking Numbers
- New Tracking Number
3. Select the Location
The first step in acquiring a new tracking number is designating which location you are acquiring it for. Simply select the location from the drop down list and then click the "Next" button.
4. Select Ad Source
After you've selected the location for which you wish to acquire the number, you will need to select or the ad source for the number. If you wish to use an existing ad, simply select one from the drop down list, and click next to continue. If you want to create a new ad source, you first set that up in the Ad tracking page and then it will be available in the dropdown section when acquiring your number.
5. Search by Area Code
The next screen you are brought to will ask you to specify the Country of your tracking number. After you select the country, you will want to enter the area code so that the system will filter the available numbers to a number that is relevant to your location. If you would prefer to have your number be a Vanity word (ie: 1-800-storage), you can enter a word in the "Vanity Word(s)" box and the system will pull relevant numbers.
6. Acquire the number
After the Available Number list populates, you can select whichever number you wish to acquire from the list and then click the "Next" button.
7. Setup Number
After selecting the number you want, you can configure custom settings. The settings include Call Routing rule to be used, the Script card, as well as whether to record inbound calls at that number, and exclude the number from being used in outbound calls (for the caller ID). For the call rouing and script card, if you would like the number to be set-up the same as all other numbers for this locaton, you will simply leave as "USE LOCATION DEFAULT".
8. Save
After setting up the settings for the number, you will click next and be brought to the final Confirmation page. Simply click "SAVE" and the number will have successfully been acquired and set up!
