Advanced Inventory is subject to limited availability.

RETURN TO THE MAIN SUPPORT PAGE

Sometimes there will not be availability at your location for a specific unit or another location might be more convenient for a Lead. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to search for nearby units and transfer a Lead’s record to another location.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality.

Navigating the Advanced Inventory - Note: With exception to Specials, you can click each column header to sort that list. Click the header once to sort alphanumerically, twice to sort reverse alphanumerically. To remove sorting, click Reset.

  • (A) Location - This is the location name where the unit group belongs to. It can be either the location where the Lead card is associated or locations you’ve added.

  • (B) Unit Size - This is the unit size for this group of units. Examples may include 5.00x5.00 or 8.00x8.00. Units are listed in order of increasing square footage.

  • (C) Unit Type - This is the unit type for this group of units. Unit types are specific to your PMS and may include such things as Climate Controlled, First Floor Units, or Parking Spaces.

  • (D) Distance - This indicates the distance the unit’s facility is from the active location. The active location can be where the Lead is associated, the location they called into, or the location they indicated as a walk-in. Units at the active location will display a (-).

  • (E) Availability - The column includes the number of available units and percentage of available units relative to all units within that unit group.

  • (F) Rate - This is the lowest rate available for this unit group.

  • (G) Special - This is a dropdown list of discounts or special offers that can be applied for this unit group.

Search for Similar Units at Nearby Locations

  • (H) Magnifying Glass - Click to open the Find Unit at Neighbor Property window where you can search for locations by distance from your current location or a zip code.

Search for a Similar Unit by Distance from the Location

  • (I) Location - The window will default to show locations based on the distance from the current location. Note: Your current location cannot be changed.

  • (J) Radius - 5 Miles/8.0 kms is the default distance from the (I) Location. Click the dropdown to select a different distance. All will include all of your locations. Note: If you select one of the units in the list, that unit becomes selected and the Lead becomes neighbored to the location of the newly selected unit.

Search by Distance from a Zip Code

  • (K) (Search by) Zip Code - Another way to find a unit is to search by zip code. This might be a better way to search for unit(s) if the Lead is not close to the current location. Begin the process by selecting this option.

  • (L) Zip Code - Enter the 5-digit zip code the Lead would like to base their search on. Note: This can be any zip code you want your search based, not necessarily the zip code your facility is located.

  • (M) Radius - The radius selection will default to 5mi/8kms. Click the dropdown to select the desired search radius from your (L) Zip Code. Note: If you select one of the units in the list, that unit becomes selected and the Lead becomes neighbored to the location of the newly selected unit.
