1. Open up the Collections List
First, you will want to open up your collections list. You can do this by clicking on the gray box at the bottom of the accordion view, located on the right side of the screen.
2. Open up the SMS Collection Event
Next, you will want to open up the scheduled SMS collection event. Just click on the name on your list, and it will pull up that customers card with the appropriate buttons to do your Collection event. In this case, a little green chat bubble to the left of the tenants name indicates that a Collection SMS is required.
3. Edit Template and Send
After selecting the Collection event off your list, an HTML box will pop up at the top left corner of the page with a pre-populated SMS template. This template is selected by the administrator on your account, depending on how many days past due that tenant is. You can elect to use this template, edit it manually, or select another template off the list to the right of the HTML box. After you have your text message ready, select your name off the Employee drop down menu and click the "Send" button.
Note: If you would like to send the SMS message to a different number, you can click the downward facing arrow next to the "Send Text" button and either select a number off their account, or enter a new one in entirely.
4. Oops! Correct Errors!
If you have forgotten to select your name off the employee dropdown, the system will give you a message asking you to select your name in order to complete the scheduled collection. At this point, just select your name off the list and hit continue. Success! The SMS Collection event has been sent!
