Note: We recommend using this feature very sparingly as it will delay future follow-ups. Depending on your management settings, you may not have Delay as an option.
Delay feature is located furthest right in the Follow-Up section.
Step 1 - Delay Followup Popup Window
Delay - Click to open the Delay Followup popup.
Delay Until - Click the Calendar to select the date you wish to delay the followup. The followup will not appear in your follow-up list until this new date.
Reason for Delay - Click the dropdown to select the reason you are delaying the followup.
Extend Expiration Date - Delay the date the system will automatically expire the Lead. We recommend extending this date by the same amount as you did in Delay Until.
Confirm - Click to apply the delay. After confirming the delay, (1) the Next Follow-up date will be updated to the new date, (2) the counter decreases by one, (3) the event will be removed from your Follow-up list.
