Step 1: Un-Box Yealink Phone

Your Yealink box should include the following 9 items:


Step 2: Charge Phone, Plug into wall outlet

A. Insert battery in back of the handset. 

B. Connect handset resting cradle to power adapter.

C. Plug power adapter into wall outlet

 


Step 3: Plug in Yealink Base Near Modem

A. Connect power cord to Yealink Base

B. Plug Yealink base power cord into outlet near the modem.

Step 4: Connect Yealink Base to Modem

A. Take the ethernet cord (yellow cord in this picture, could be any color)  and plug it into the Yealink Base

B. Plug the other end into the back of the modem in any open ethernet space.


Step 5: Confirm 3 Green Solid Color Lights on Bottom Right of Yealink Base

If there are not 3 solid colored lights, try plugging it into a different ethernet space, or, try plugging it into a different modem if you have more than 1.




Step 6: Retrieve IP Address From Handset

Press ‘OK’ 3 times on the handset. Please note the IP address at the top.



Step 7: Check That IP is valid

Input IP Address in browser address bar with all of the periods. Then press enter. If your Yealink Base/Phone was connected correctly, you should see a login box appear on your screen. If you see the login box, you’re all set!


Step 8: Contact CallPotential Support

Go to www.callpotential.com and click the chat button to reach our support team. Be sure to have your IP Address available to share with the agent and they will work with you to complete the phone configuration.
