Ads (Creating/Editing Ad Names)

When using tracking lines for different marketing/ad purposes, you'll want to assign a unique ad name to each for tracking purposes. This guide explains how to create unique ad names to assign to your tracking lines.Â

You must be signed into the Web Client as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and create a new ad source.
Access
(A) Settings icon - Click to access all your available administrative settings.
(B) Ads - Click to access your My Ads list where you can view all your Active and Archived ads.
Create a New Ad
(C) New Ad - From this page, you'll be able to activate, edit or archive Ads as well as create new Ads. Click to create a new ad.
Ad Settings
(D) Ad Name - Enter the Ad name that will appear in your My Ads list. This helps when you have multiple tracking numbers for your location, you can create specific Ads for each so you can better understand where Leads are originating.
(E) Ad Type - Click the dropdown to assign your ad to an available Ad Type.
(F) Total Monthly Cost - Enter the monthly cost of running the ad.
(G) Source Match (optional) - This allows you to associate ad names to names in your property management software (PMS) if there is not a one-to-one correlation. For example, you might want to enter web* which will tell CallPotential to search your PMS for anything that starts with web such as website, webdirect, etc.Â
(H) Editable (optional) - This gives you an option of changing the ad name once the Lead has already been created.Â
(I) Always Visible (optional) - Click to allow this to be viewable in the Lead card at all times. If left unchecked, only ad names for locations that have a number associated with the ad will be visible.
Save
(J) Save - Click to save the new ad and return to your My Ads list.
(K) Cancel - Click to discard any changes made and return to your My Ads list.
