How to place a collection call in the Agent Interface

1. Agent Tasks dropdown

First, in order to access the scheduled collections for locations on your account, you will need to navigate to the Agent Taskbar at the top center of the Agent Interface. On the right side of this box, there is a little dropdown arrow. If you click the dropdown arrow, a menu will pop down where you can open up the collections lists.

2. Collections Retrieve

Once the dropdown menu shows, you will want to click the gray "Retrieve" button, located directly to the right of the Collections count. This will open up your Collections list.

3. Select Location(s)

After the Collections list loads, you will want to select the location (or all locations) that you wish to do the scheduled collection for. Once you have selected the location, the list will automatically refresh to include only the collections actions scheduled for that particular location.

4. Open

The next step is simply to click the "open" link in the far right column, of the lead (row) that you wish to do the collection call for. This will open up the customer's card.

5. Start Call

After the customer's card has loaded, you will see all the information about that customer's account. From here, you can click the "Start Call" button at the top left corner of the screen to initiate the call. If you are Connected via Phone, your phone will ring and you will be prompted to press 1 to connect to the customer. If you are Connected via Computer, you will be immediately connected to the call through your headset.

6. Payment and/or Notes

Once you are on the call, you are going to want to take down information from the call, schedule a Promise to Pay, or even take a payment. All this can be done directly from the customer card, while you are on the call or after you are off the call. Once you have made the proper notes or changes to the account following what took place on the call, you are ready to save the card. To do this, simply click on the "Save" button, located on the right side of the screen, just above the notes. You have now successfully placed a collections call through the Agent interface.
