Note

Neighboring a Lead allows you to access other company locations that are more convenient for the Lead.

Search for Neighboring Locations

  • (A) Neighbors - Click to open the Neighboring popup window where you can search other company locations that may be closer or more convenient for the Lead.
  • (B) Search Options - There are two search options available. (C) Location allows you to search within a designated radius from the location the customer called in for. (I) Zip Code allows you to search within a designated radius of a zip code that you enter.

  • (C) Location - By default, the Location sort option is selected along with the radius of 5 miles. Here, you see the list of all locations within 5 miles of where the customer called in for. The exact distance of each location is listed next to the location name.

  • (D) Select Radius dropdown - Click to change the radius you are searching within. When you select a different radius, the list and map will update accordingly.

  • (E) Search Window - The search box can further filter your list. If known, you can begin entering the name of the location you are looking. This will filter the list and provide possible matches. This may be helpful if the larger radius includes a long list of included locations.
  • (F) Location - Click on the location that is more convenient for the Lead.
  • (G) Ok - Click to move to lead to the newly select location location. Your script with now update to the new location info where you can continue entering lead information. Once you click save, the lead will be save at the new location.
  • (H) Cancel - If you decide not to neighbor the lead to another location, Click to close and return to the original Lead card and continue at the existing location.


By distance from a specific zip code

  • (I) Zipcode - Click to begin a search for a neighboring location based on a zipcode the Lead provides.
  • (J) Enter Zip Code - Enter the zipcode provided by the Lead.
  • (K) Search - Click to begin a search for a Neighboring location based on the zipcode provided by the Lead.
  • (L) Location list -  By default, the list displays locations withing a 5 mile radius of the zip code entered. The exact distance of each location is listed next to the location name.

Note: You will need to scroll down to access the Select radius dropdown.

  • (M) Select radius dropdownClick to change the radius you are searching within. When you select a different radius, the list and map will update accordingly.

  • (N) Search WindowThe search box can further filter your list. If known, you can begin entering the name of the location you are looking. This will filter the list and provide possible matches. This may be helpful if the larger radius includes a long list of included locations.
  • (O) Location - Click on the location that is more convenient for the Lead.
  • (P) Ok - Click to move to lead to the newly select location location. Your script with now update to the new location info where you can continue entering lead information. Once you click save, the lead will be save at the new location..
  • (Q) Cancel -  If you decide not to neighbor the lead to another location, Click to close and return to the original Lead card and continue at the existing location.


Finalize Neighboring

  • (R) Save - After completing your work in the Lead card, click to Save. Note: You need to have 1 unit selected to complete the neighboring process.

Note: You will only see this step if the Lead had previously been Lead.

  • Delete Previous Lead - If this was a previously saved Lead, you will need to click Yes or No after saving updates to the Lead card. 
    • (S) Yes - Clicking this will transfer the Lead’s record to the new location and delete their record at the original location.
    • (T) No - Clicking this will duplicate the Lead’s record. The Lead will be saved at the  new location as well as at the original location.
