Your organization places ads on billboards, inside the local YellowPages book or websites with a unique phone number (tracking number) that when dialed, gets forwarded to one of your locations. All this helps identify which ad contributed to a caller dialing into your location and justify the expense of maintaining advertisements or eventually, helps you decide to stop paying for some underperforming ones. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to identify which tracking lines and ads are associated with your locations.
