The purpose of this guide is to explain how to change the primary phone number associated with a Lead's record. It is vital to maintain accurate phone numbers for Leads to ensure they keep receiving Follow-up phone calls and texts.

Update Primary Phone Number - Note: If the Lead is also a tenant, their primary phone number can’t be updated.

  • (A) Edit the number - From inside the Lead card, click the phone number.

  • (B) Update the number - Enter the new phone number. Note: The new number needs to be 10 digits (No “1” before the area code).

    Exit

    Close the Editing Box - Click Enter on your keyboard or anywhere outside the box to close it.

    apply changes to Lead’s account.

Add New Phone Number

  • (E) Phone dropdown - Click to start the process.
  • (F) + Add New - Click to access the Add New Number window.
  • (G) Type dropdown - Click to select.
  • (H) Number window - Click to enter the new number. 
  • (I) Confirm - Click to add the new number to the Lead’s account. Confirm becomes clickable once you enter 10 digits (No “1” before the area code).
  • (J)Save - Click to apply changes to Lead’s account.

    Delete Secondary Number(s) - Note: A Lead’s primary number can’t be deleted.

    • (K) Phone dropdown - Click to start the process.
    • (L) Delete icon - Click to delete the specific number. 
    • (M)Save - Click to apply changes to Lead’s account.

      save the updated phone number to the Lead's record.
