This guide explains how to manually email a Lead when one is scheduled as an event in the Follow-up workflow.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality.

Open the Record from the Follow-up List - Note: The specific

follow

Follow-up communication method is indicated under (B) Type in the Follow-up list.

    Lead

    Leads icon - Click to access the list of Follow-up events. The list will automatically open to Follow-ups. Note: The number badge above the Leads icon indicates how many total, manual (phone, text, email) Follow-up events need to be completed.

    Locate the specific email event you want to complete and click to access the Lead card

    and

    to proceed with the Follow-up email.

Start the Email

  • (E)Start Follow-up

    Call

    Email - Click to initiate the manual Follow-up

    call. If connected via computer, the call will immediately connect. If connected via one of the phone options, the system will dial your phone; answer and press 1 to connect. This will turn grey while connecting and on the call.(E

Edit & Send Email

 - Be sure to review the Lead card before sending the email

- Note: All emails will automatically contain a link that Leads can use to unsubscribe from these notifications.

    Add Recipients

    Add Recipients - Click to add additional recipients to the message.

    K) Email Body - A preview of the email will appear with a pre-populated message. Make edits as necessary.

    Note: You can click and drag the edge of the email window to increase or decrease its size on your screen.

  • (L) Templates - Click to access a list of additional standard messages

  • (MSend - After making updates, click to send the email and a confirmation message will appear confirming your email has been sent.

Update Record - Note: Notes are automatically updated to reflect the Follow-up communication along with the initials of the employee who completed the event

  • (N) Save -

    Enter any necessary updates to the Lead card then click

    Click Save to apply updates to the record and exit the Lead
