The purpose of this guide is to explain how a user can create a new Lead record for an existing Customer and enter them into a Follow-up workflow. 

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality. 

To create a new Lead from an existing Customer, the Customer needs their Lead status set to

be

Rented.

Access

  • (A)

    Lead tab

    Lead - From the existing Customer

    or History

    card, click to create a new Lead for this record.

Create a new Lead - Note: When creating a new Lead card, the Date Needed will default to today's date.  Edit as necessary.

  • (B) Create New Lead - Click

    to create a new Lead record associated with this Customer. Clicking Lead will open a new Lead card

    . If this is your selection, continue to step (D).

  • (C) View existing - Click

    this

    to view the existing Lead card.

    This selection

    If this is your selection, the system take you to the original Lead card and will not create a new Lead record.

  • (D) Contact Header - This contains information gathered from the Customer’s record and cannot be edited with the exception of their Lead status (E).

  • (E) Active - The Lead status

    shows Active

    will display Active. Click here to learn more about Status options.

    Lead Details

    Inquiry Type - The default

    information reflects this person being a new walk-in Lead. Edit

    selection may need to be adjusted. Click the dropdown and edit as necessary.

    Inventory - There is no inventory selected, reflecting this as a new Lead.

     Did You Receive Permission to Send Texts - a Yes or No answer is required to save the lead.

  • (H) Marketing Ad Source - Click the dropdown to access and select where the Lead discovered your facility. Examples may include such things as Google, YellowPages or a billboard. Your selection here will be represented in the Ad Performance report

  • (J) Save - This will become enabled once all the required information has been entered. Click to enter the Lead into a Follow-up workflow and close the Lead card. If the new Lead was saved in

    the

    CallPotential's web

    client

    version, an email will be sent to the location in which it was saved

    indicating

    notifying location users a new Lead

    has been

    was created.

Note: Before clicking Save and entering the new Lead into a Follow-up workflow, you will need to assign them a unit in the Inventory section of the Lead card. For more information on those tasks, click here.
