You must be signed into the Web ClientCallPotential's web version as an Administrator to access the Settings icon and edit Cancellation reasons.


When a Lead record is cancelled in the system, additional information is required. This information is included in the Cancellation Reasons Report. This allows system administrators to see at a high level why Leads are being cancelled. The purpose of this guide is to explain how to update those reasons. 

Access

  • (A) Settingsicon - Click to access all available administrative settings.
  • (B) Cancellation Reasons - Click to access the full list of Cancellation reasons and edit a reason. Click here to learn how to cancel a Lead.
  • (C) Edit icon  - Click the specific Cancellation reason you wish to edit. Note: Only client-created reasons can be edited.


Edit Reason

  • (D) API Type dropdown  - Click the dropdown to edit the selected API option from the list. 
  • (E) API ID - Click to edit the identification that corresponds to the specific API Type. If “Other” was selected as API Type, this field will be disabled.
  • (F)Description - Enter what will appear as available for user selection. This description will appear in the Cancellation Reasons Report. Click here to learn more about this report.


Save Edits

  • (G) Update - Click to update changes made and return to the list of existing Cancellation reasons.
  • (H)Cancel - Click to discard any edits made and return to the list of existing Cancellation reasons.
