This guide explains how to manually email a Lead when one is scheduled as an event in the Follow-up workflow.

Note

Italicized terms represent clickable icons on the specific screen being discussed.

Terms in blue are links to additional information about the described functionality. 

If your company doesn't subscribe to CallPotential's Lead Management services, these instructions may not be pertinent to you.

Open Record from Follow-up List Note: The specific Follow-up communication method is indicated under (B) Type in the Follow-up list.
  • (A) Lead Leads icon - Click to access the list of Follow-up events. The list will automatically open to Follow-ups. Note: The number badge above the Leads icon indicates how many total, manual (phone, text, email) Follow-up events need to be completed.

  • (C) Open - Click to access the Lead card and to proceed with the Follow-up email.


Before Sending the Email

  • Review the Lead Record - Review the (D) script to familiarize yourself with the Lead before sending the email.


Start Email

  • (E) Start Follow-up Email- Click to initiate the manual Follow-up email. 

  • (F) Start Follow-up dropdown - Click to access additional email addresses (if available) associated with the account.  

  • (G) Next Follow-up - Indicates the next date (after the current scheduled Follow up) a scheduled follow-up communication is scheduled. 

  • (H) Information - Click for information regarding the next follow up event. 

  • (I) Delay - Click to delay the current Follow-up. Click here for a more detailed explanation on our Delay Follow-up feature.


Edit & Send Email

  • (J) Add Recipients - Click to add additional recipients to the message.

  • (K) Email Body - A preview of the email will appear with a pre-populated message. Make edits as necessary.  

  • (L) Template dropdown Templates - Click to access a list of additional standard messages. 

  • (M) Send - After making updates, click to send the email. After clicking Send, a confirmation message will appear confirming your email has been sent. 


Update Record - Note: Notes are automatically updated to reflect the Follow-up communication along with the initials of the employee who completed the event.

  • (N) Save - Enter any necessary updates to the Lead card then click Save to apply updates and exit the Lead Card.
